The leadership team is comprised of men and women who have chosen to give of their lives for God’s purposes as they invest their time and energy to build the local church.
Our leadership structure consists of Pastors, Elders, and Deacons, along with other leaders who help in every aspect of church life, so that we might see the body of Christ, as the Apostle Paul says: “building up of itself in love.” (Ephesians 4:16)
Tony Moss serves as our Pastor and leads our team of elders. He has primary responsibility for preaching and teaching, as well as oversight of day-to-day administration and various ministry teams. Tony is our lead elder/pastornsince 1983.
Tony’s vision is to see people fulfill their calling in God, by having an authentic relationship with Him, as well as with their family, friends and community. His personable approach to ministry reflects his desire to encourage believers to take their “next step of faith.” His sermons are filled with practical illustrations to help people apply the truth of the scripture and become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
He and his wife Yvonne have been married over thirty years. They have three grown children and three grandchildren.
Tony DiMauro oversees the Ushers and Greeters, assists with preaching and teaching, and leads other ministries and projects. He has served as an elder of the church since 1994. His life is a testimony to the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
Tony is married to Ruth. Their blended family is made up of four grown children and three grandchildren.
Les Taylor has been an elder at Long Branch Covenant Church since 1994 and supervisor of Christian Education. He is married to his wife, Anita and together they have 3 grown children and six grandchildren. Les also serves the church as high school teacher and pastors one of the fellowship groups. He considers it a privilege to walk with the church members through the trials and blessings of life and to help them see that God's will is good always.
Don serves as deacon over indoor and outdoor building maintenance. Currently he leads a small group study on Friday evenings.
Terri serves as deacon over the children's ministry, hospitality and interior decor. She also offers administrative assistance to they youth group, building security team and deacons.
Mike serves the church as deaon over ushers and leads a successful men's Bible study. Mike enjoys coordinating the church's annual beach bonfire. He also leads an annual outreach called a "Bike Blessing" where motorcyclists are invited to bring their bike to receive a blessing.
Joy serves as deacon over administration of church activity, community outreach, women's ministry and building projects.
Rich serves as deacon over technical administration. He has co-led the youth group for over 5 years.
